3 Rail Privacy Fence


One of the more popular wooden fence styles we offer in Winnipeg is a 4×4 post, 3 rail privacy fence. This fence can be built with the framing either “strapped” to the face of the 4×4 posts, or installed between the posts.

4 Rail Privacy Fence

  An upgrade to the  3 rail privacy fence , is the 4×4 post, 4 rail privacy fence. This fence can be built with the framing either “strapped” to the face of the 4×4 posts, or installed between the posts, the same as the 3 rail. This fence includes an addition rail in the middle of the fence. The added middle rail helps to keep the pickets from twisting and bowing like all lumber wants to do. This added rail helps keep your fence looking better for longer. Side note This fence style must be installed with the framing on the inside of your yard if you have a hot tub or a pool. The additional rail makes this fence easier to climb and presents a safe hazard when installed with standing water in your yard.
